Letters to the Editor

Since we’ve started here at Bogpaper.com we have received all sorts of Tweets, E-Mails and Comments. So we thought. Why not publish some of them. Without further ado here are some of the best we have received in recently.

Consumers will be Creamed in the Corrupt Carbon Credit Casino

Some people think an Emissions Trading Scheme is superior to a Carbon Tax.  It’s time to expose the corrupt carbon credit casino. In this casino, producers are forced to pay for emitting the same harmless, colourless, non-polluting, natural gas of life that every human produces in his lungs with every breath. At the same time, other smarties are paid to promise they will not emit the gas they intended to emit tomorrow. In the middle, empires of bankers, brokers, speculators, lawyers, auditors and regulators wax rich by clipping every transaction, and an army of bureaucrats and academics feed on the government windfall. And at the end of this feed chain, innocent consumers get creamed. All of this confirms that we live in a political madhouse.

Very good stuff – maybe over provocative but you need to sustain your internet ‘hits’.
Anyway,  I keep seeing  ‘we’  in the blogs as in ‘we love liberty most of all, because….’
this sounds like a doctrine … surely if ‘you’  value freedom you would be a collection of similar but different preferences .   You sound a bit ‘soviet’ (not to say aggressive)  to my mind.
Anyway – keep it up
Jon
