Scary chart of the day

We saw this rather terrifying chart over at Zerohedge earlier on and thought we would share it all with you. Whilst we realise some people can be a little paranoid, the huge increase in gun sales since the financial crisis started is quite astonishing and terrifying…and maybe a little weird. We sould hope that should the SHTF over on our side of the pond it would be a case of pulling together rather than pulling the trigger.

SHTF no doubt contributes, but I suspect that a bigger factor is the passing of the NDAA by Congress and the recent purchase of 350million rounds of ammunition by the TSA, among other worrying developments.
Despite what we are told in Europe, I don’t believe that Americans are stupid and they can see the writing on the wall.

It’s all action here on the Emerald Isle. Rural dwellers are certainly going to need self defence. Many rural Guarda stations have been closed and apparently a lot more in the forthcoming budget. They have even closed the Guarda training school in Templemore – no new guards being trainded – very worrying. We had two late night visits and called upon our very kind nieghbours instead – it takes an average of 45mins for the guard to get you! Its literally “god save us” now.

In our household, as soon as it gets to twilight we “batton down the hatches”! We make sure all windows and doors are firmly locked. The types visiting our area are gangs from Dublin who carry guns and are given local knowledge.
The garden nursery in our village, literally had its entrance “driven down” by a truck a few weeks ago.
I am seriously thinking about investing in a “big dog”, that bares a lot of teeth and barks loudly!

And finally on the this subject, ATM machines are being pulled out of walls by these same people.
